2025 Dollar Spot Research Conference

Description
This conference will focus on the current state of our knowledge surrounding dollar spot on turfgrass, identifying the key areas to address in future collaborative research, and methods to fund the research.
Presentations from academics and private industry professionals will be included and brainstorming sessions for future research ideas will also be held.
Current speakers include a keynote address from Rick Latin (Purdue University, retired) and additional presentations from Ming-Yi Chou (Rutgers), Tatsiana Espevig (Norway), Geunhwa Jung (UMass), Paul Koch (Wisconsin), Dave McCall (Virginia Tech), Lee Miller (Purdue), Wolfgang Praemassing (Germany), and Christian Spring (UK). Who Should Attend?
This conference is intended for all turfgrass researchers around the globe in both the public and private spheres interested in dollar spot management. Practitioners are also welcome to attend and learn about ongoing dollar spot research and provide their perspectives on the most difficult aspects of dollar spot management.

The conference will be held in-person with a Zoom option available to those who aren’t able to attend the conference in person.
Note: The sessions will not be recorded.

Registration Cost
- In-person: $150
- includes lunch and light morning and afternoon refreshments both days
- Remote: $50
Refunds
A full refund will be provided if requested 14 days prior to the start of the conference (March 4th).
Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process from the date we receive your request.

The nearest airport to Pinehurst is Fayetteville Municipal Airport (FAY), approximately 36 miles away. Other nearby commercial airports include Raleigh/Durham (RDU) 60 miles away, Greensboro (GSO) 68 miles away, and Charlotte (CLT) 84 miles away.
Each attendee is responsible for their own transportation between the hotel and Sandhills Community College.
